The St Louis Rams lead the Seattle Seahawks 6-0 at the break to put the home side's chances of earning the number one seed in the NFC at risk.
Both sides struggled to move the ball on offense in the first quarter, but it was the Rams who managed to get on the scoreboard first as Greg Zuerlein fired a 33-yard field goal through the posts after a decent drive from their offense.
The Rams had an excellent chance to extend their lead when Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw an interception into the hands of Marcus Roberson, but Shaun Hill and his offense couldn't take advantage of their good field position.
Another mistake from Seattle allowed the Rams to add another three points as Alec Ogletree stripped the ball from Marshawn Lynch, and Zuerlein was on hand to kick a field goal from 52 yards.
