JR Sweezy out with concussion

The Seattle Seahawks have confirmed that JR Sweezy will miss this weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals with a concussion.

The right guard sustained the injury during the NFC West side's 23-0 win over the New York Giants last Sunday and has been unable to practise this week.

Head coach Pete Carroll told reporters: "JR is going through the process, the protocol, and did not make it. So we'll keep him out this week.

"It happened in the game and we did not realise it was an issue until afterwards."

Michael Bowie, Paul McQuistan and Alvin Bailey could all step in.
