The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing to unveil running back DeMarco Murray after he secured his move from divisional rivals the Dallas Cowboys.
The 27-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Eagles and the fan reaction in Dallas has been negative, with supporters reportedly burning their number 29 jerseys.
Murray revealed that other teams offered him more money, but believes that the Eagles give him the best opportunity to win a championship.
"I felt that this was a great opportunity for me to win a Super Bowl, at the end of the day," Murray said, ESPN reports.
"It wasn't about financial security or anything like that. Obviously, you want something that you deserve, something that is respectful. Those two things are important to me, and I was able to accomplish that. I think the Eagles have a great chance to win a Super Bowl."
Philadelphia had initially wanted to sign Frank Gore, but after he opted to join the Indianapolis Colts, Eagles coach Chip Kelly made his move for Murray.
