Mark Sanchez says he has not thought about leaving the New York Jets after being dropped from the starting lineup.

Mark Sanchez has said that he has not thought about whether he will still be part of the New York Jets next season.

The quarterback has been dropped in favour of Greg McElroy after a poor performance against the Tennessee Titans.

The 26-year-old told the New York Daily News: "I really haven't even thought about it. I'm a Jet, that's all I've known."

Today's game against the San Diego Chargers will be the first time Sanchez has not started for the Jets without being injured.
