Tom Coughlin "concerned" by New York Giants display

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin admits that he is "concerned" by aspects of his side's 20-12 pre-season loss to the Indianapolis Colts last night.

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin has admitted that he was left "concerned" by his side's lack of ability to score points during their 20-12 pre-season defeat to the Indianapolis Colts last night.

The Giants failed to score a single touchdown throughout the match despite finding themselves in a number of promising positions, relying instead on the boot of Josh Brown to hit four field goals.

Coughlin was upset with his side's lack of plays while they were on the attack, but also felt that they could have done better defensively to prevent the Colts' two touchdowns.

"We didn't make any plays," Coughlin told reporters after the match. "We made one or two but nowhere near enough.

"We had many opportunities and didn't come away with anything. I thought we had two interceptions on their two touchdowns.

"We were in scoring territory a bunch of times and didn't come away with touchdowns. That continues to be an area of concern for us all."

The Giants also saw key duo Victor Cruz and David Baas pick up injuries during the match, although neither are thought to be too serious.
