New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle has undergone an MRI scan following an ankle injury suffered in practice on Monday.
Rolle was attempting to cut out a pass intended for Bear Pascoe and landed on his ankle, with coach Tom Coughlin hopeful that the veteran will not be out of action for too long.
"I would much rather have [Rolle]," Newsday quotes Coughlin as saying. "Hopefully it's an ankle and he's coming right back."
Early suggestions show that Rolle has suffered a sprain with no indication yet as to his return date.
