Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck believes that wide receiver Reggie Wayne will be "better than ever" next season following his recovery from a torn ACL.
The 35-year-old sustained the injury in October in the Colts' win over the Denver Broncos and has been making steady progress in his rehabilitation during his side's organised team activities.
"His attitude is awesome," Luck told reporters. "He's around, he's coaching, he's talking football. I feel like I know Reggie.
"He's going to be back better than ever doing things that the 35-plus years olds shouldn't be allowed to do on this earth. He's a freak."
The Colts finished with an 11-5 record last season and were knocked out of the playoffs by the New England Patriots in the divisional round.
