Indianapolis Colts general manager Ryan Grigson has revealed that the club are hopeful that Dwayne Allen and Reggie Wayne will be fit for the start of training camp.
Tight end Allen missed 15 games for the Colts last season due to a groin injury, while Wayne played just seven matches after tearing his ACL against the Denver Broncos.
"From all the reports that I've been getting from our trainers and from the doctors in the meetings we've had, everyone's going in the right direction. We're optimistic about everyone," Grigson told the Terre Haute Tribune-Star.
Without those key players, the Colts still managed to reach the divisional round of the AFC playoffs.
