Dwayne Allen: 'Indianapolis Colts prepare for fourth-quarter comebacks'

Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen says that the team prepares for late comebacks during their practices.

Dwayne Allen has revealed that the Indianapolis Colts work on fourth-quarter comebacks during practice.

The AFC South side have come from behind in the fourth quarter or overtime in eight of their last 17 games, including against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

The tight end told the team's website: "We practise these situations. That's what is most important, that we practise for those situations. When we need a stop on fourth down and we need a touchdown with no timeouts, Coach [Chuck] Pagano puts us in those situations in practice so in games it's easier, more natural.

"It's something that you have to believe. We believe in each other. Our motto is, '60 minutes, or however long it takes'. We'll never give up.

"We basically laid the foundation last year for this organisation in the way we went out and were able to win those close-margin games."

The Colts will face the Miami Dolphins in their second game of the regular season this weekend.
