Peyton Manning happy to overcome errors

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is happy that his side found a way to overcome early errors against the Washington Redskins to go on and win the match.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has hailed his side's ability to overcome mistakes and still record a win.

Manning threw three interceptions and conceded four turnovers overall as the Broncos were forced to come from 14 points behind to record a 45-21 victory over the Washington Redskins yesterday, scoring 38 unanswered points at the end of the match.

The Broncos defence finished the game with a season-high five turnovers, while Manning also put his interceptions behind him and threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns, leaving the veteran quarterback happy with how his side bounced back from a poor start.

"That stuff happens in football. We haven't had a ton of that, but the fact we were able to overcome it was critical," Manning told the Associated Press.

The Broncos are still second in the AFC West, behind the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs as they go into a bye week.
