Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins has insisted that he has complete faith in quarterback EJ Manuel to turn things around next season.

Watkins is recovering from surgery on his hip, but that hasn't stopped him from noticing the progress that his teammate is making this off-season.

"That's my guy. I believe in him 100% and I told him that whether he's the starter or not. He's a totally different guy," he told reporters.

New Bills head coach Rex Ryan has revealed that every player on the roster will have a clean slate to start with as he looks to pick his best team.

Watkins added that he is working out and will be available for team activities sooner rather than later, giving him an opportunity to work on his chemistry with Manuel.
