Salford Red Devils' Tommy Lee given one-game ban

Salford Red Devils hooker Tommy Lee is handed a one-match suspension by the RFL after entering a guilty plea to a shoulder charge offence.

Tommy Lee has been given a one-game ban by the Rugby Football League for a Grade B shoulder charge on Travis Burns of Hull KR during Salford's win at the KC Lightstream Stadium at the weekend.

Lee, 26, submitted an early guilty plea (EGP) to the charge and was also fined £300 for a Grade A punching during the same game, for which he also pleaded guilty.

The hooker will now miss Friday's Super League match against Leeds Rhinos.

However, Salford will be able to call on the services of winger Josh Griffin and second-rower Matty Ashurst for the visit of the Rhinos since both avoided suspension after admitting Grade A offences committed in the same match.
