Salford Red Devils coach Iestyn Harris eyes five consecutive wins

Salford Red Devils coach Iestyn Harris believes that his side must win their final five games of the season if they want to get into the Super League playoffs.

Salford Red Devils coach Iestyn Harris has claimed that his team will have to win their five remaining games of the season if they want to reach the Super League playoffs.

The Red Devils are now four points behind eighth-placed Widnes Vikings following Friday's 22-18 defeat at home to Leeds Rhinos.

Harris believes that only a perfect end to the campaign will give his team a chance of sneaking through to the playoffs.

"We've got five games left and, unless we win five out of five, I don't think we're going to have a chance of getting in the top eight," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Salford return to Super League action next Friday with a trip to Wigan Warriors.
