The RFL reportedly investigate Leeds Rhinos full-back Zak Hardaker after he made alleged homophobic comments.

Leeds Rhinos full-back Zak Hardaker is reportedly under investigation by the Rugby Football League regarding alleged homophobic comments.

The 22-year-old is said to have aimed the alleged remarks at referee James Child during Leeds's 24-6 defeat to Warrington Wolves in the Super League last Friday.

According to the Daily Mail, the RFL's compliance department have launched an investigation after the incident was reported following the match.

Hardaker was part of England's 2013 World Cup squad.
