Brazilian legend Pele has insisted that he is "doing fine" in a special care unit following treatment for a urinary infection.
Reports on Thursday suggested that the 74-year-old has been moved to intensive care, but the three-time World Cup winner took to Twitter to offer an update on his current condition.
I was not put into intensive care today, I was simply relocated to a special room within the hospital for privacy purposes only.

"While I appreciate all the visitors that came to see me, I really need to continue my treatment and recovery in peace," Pele added. "I am blessed to receive your love and support, and thank God this is nothing serious."
Brazil's record goalscorer was initially discharged from hospital earlier this month after undergoing surgery to remove kidney stones.
