Mick Schumacher has won his third race in Formula Four on his debut weekend.
The 16-year-old, who is the son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher, pipped his teammate Joey Mawson by less than a second in an action-packed 18 laps at the Oschersleben track, Germany.
Schumacher has attracted much publicity since he announced that he would follow in his father's footsteps earlier this year, and he has got off to a dream start.
The German told reporters: "Of course, I'm overjoyed, my first weekend of racing couldn't have gone any better. We had a good start, because I still had fresh tyres and things went well from there, it only got a bit close at the end.
"All in all, I am completely happy over the start of the season and I am looking forward to the next race."
Schumacher won the best rookie title by coming ninth in his first race on Saturday, before he finished 12th in race two.
