Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo admits that his side had to work hard in order to record a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has acknowledged that his side must continue to work on finding solutions to win games in the Championship.

On Saturday afternoon, Ivan Cavaleiro's strike earned Wolves a narrow victory over Ipswich Town, and the result has taken the club seven points clear at the top of the second-tier standings.

However, Wolves have been restricted to just three goals from their last four matches and Nuno has admitted that his players are having to work hard in order to record maximum points.

The 43-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "It was a tough game. Ipswich press hard all over the pitch and it is hard to play against. We have seen that teams are trying to adapt to us and we have to find solutions.

"We don't look at the table. We look at how we want to continue and proceed and be persistent in our work. It is a good moment for us so let's enjoy it."

Wolves are next in action when they visit Millwall on Boxing Day.
