Kenny Jackett pleased with point against Stevenage

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett insists that he was happy to earn a point after his side secured a 0-0 draw at Stevenage.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has admitted that his side's position in the League One table is "very good" after they drew 0-0 with Stevenage.

The result at Broadhall Way saw Wolves maintain their six-point advantage over second-placed Brentford while they also extended their lead over third place to 11 points, and Jackett has revealed that he wasn't disappointed to miss out on victory on Tuesday evening.

The 52-year-old told the club's official website: "It was a close game but in the second half, we had the better of it and had some big chances. We didn't put them away but that was all the second half lacked.

"It's a hard place to come and there was a high energy level from Stevenage tonight. In the context of the bigger picture, I am not disappointed with a point.

"That was our game in hand on third place and that extends it to 11 points with us having six games to go. The position is very good."

Wolves will win promotion to the Championship with three wins from their final six fixtures.
