Paul Gladon: 'I don't regret Wolverhampton Wanderers move'

Striker Paul Gladon says that he does not regret making the move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, despite only making three appearances last season.

Striker Paul Gladon has suggested that he does not regret his transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers last season.

Gladon was one of a dozen signings to make the switch to Molineux soon after the West Midlands outfit had been taken over by Fosun international, but he was limited to just three appearances throughout the campaign.

The forward has now returned to former club Heracles on a season-long loan deal, but Gladon has indicated that he is content that he took the opportunity to move to England.

The 25-year-old told Heracles's official website: "I had some minutes at the beginning of the season, then I had to only train.

"I'm not 18 anymore. This opportunity I could not refuse and you're asking whether such a chance can again occur in the future. If you do not play games and only allowed to train, it is not good to very often be 'home alone'. Luckily (my girlfriend) was there two or three times per month.

"Physically, I have become much stronger. I saw defenders like I've never experienced. It is different football; little structure and long ball almost instantaneously."

Gladon's last first-team outing for Wolves came on September 27.
