West Ham United have been drawn against Belgian outfit Gent in the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League.

After finishing top of Group B with a perfect record, the Hammers cruised into the last eight courtesy of a 6-0 aggregate win over AEK Larnaca in the last 16, including a 4-0 second-leg win at the London Stadium on Thursday.

Last season's Europa League semi-finalists are now competing in back-to-back European quarter-finals for the first time in more than half a century, and have been rewarded with a two-legged tie against Gent.

David Moyes's men will travel to Belgian for the first leg against the Buffalos, who recorded a 5-2 aggregate win over Istanbul Basaksehir in the last 16, with Gift Orban scoring a stunning three-minute hat-trick in a 4-1 second-leg victory on Wednesday.

The Europa Conference League semi-final draw has also taken place, with the winners of West Ham's tie against Gent to take on either AZ Alkmaar or Anderlecht in the last four.

Anderlecht, who finished behind West Ham in second place in the group stage, secured a 2-1 aggregate win over Villareal in the last 16, while AZ Alkmaar came out on top against Lazio courtesy of a 4-2 success on aggregate.

Elsewhere, Polish outfit Lech Poznan have been drawn against Serie A side Fiorentina, and the victors of this quarter-final tie will face either Basel or Nice in the semi-finals.

Poznan are competing in their first-ever European quarter-final after securing a comfortable 5-0 aggregate victory over Djurgardens IF in the last 16, while Fiorentina cruised into the last eight with a 5-1 aggregate win against Sivasspor.

Swiss side Basel, meanwhile, scraped through to the quarter-finals after beating Slovan Bratialava on penalties following a 4-4 aggregate draw over two legs, and will now test their mettle over two legs against French outift Nice, who beat Sheriff Tiraspol 4-1 on aggregate, including a 3-1 second-leg win on Thursday.

The quarter-finals first legs are scheduled to take place on April 13, with the reverse fixtures to be played on April 20.
