West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis is not yet finished in the transfer market, as he intends to bring in new faces while also offloading some of the youngsters on loan.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has revealed that he is still in the market for new signings, but only if the right type of player becomes available.

The Baggies have been one of the quieter Premier League teams so far this summer, bringing in just a few new faces ahead of the start of the 2017-18 season.

Pulis is in no rush to further strengthen his squad, insisting that it is a case of recruiting only those who can improve the quality in his ranks, but he would like to offload some of his younger players.

"It's not about signing players, it's about signing good players," he told reporters. "There are clubs who want our youngsters on loan but we have to look after ourselves. If players come in we can get them out on loan."

Pulis put pen to paper on a new deal on Friday morning to keep him at The Hawthorns until 2019.
