Ben Davies: "It's been a very good week for us"

Swansea City defender Ben Davies believes that his side's win over Crystal Palace capped off an excellent week for the club in the Premier League and in Europe.

Swansea City defender Ben Davies believes that his side's win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League capped off a brilliant week for the club.

Michael Laudrup's side recorded their second victory of the week by beating the Eagles following their 3-0 hammering of Valencia in the Europa League on Thursday.

Davies told the club's official website: "It was a very professional display - it was a performance that deserved all three points. There were never any issues of fatigue being a problem for us.

"We have a strong squad. We have players the manager can chop and change, and that's great for the team. And I think that really paid off for us today.

"On top of that, we prevented them from creating any real chances, so that was very pleasing. It's been a very good week for us."

Swansea are ninth in the Premier League after five games this season.
