Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to allow winger Josh Onomah to sign a loan deal with Aston Villa.
As it stands, Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino has not made any first-team signings, leaving open the possibility that some of the club's younger players could be used on a regular basis.
However, according to The Mirror, the green light has been given for 20-year-old Onomah to make the switch to Villa Park for at least the first half of the campaign.
Villa manager Steve Bruce has been required to react to an injury to Jack Grealish, leaving Onomah to deputise for at least the first few months of the season.
The England Under-20 star has made 32 appearances for Spurs in all competitions, but the creative midfielder has only featured in the starting lineup on seven occasions and is yet to begin a fixture in the Premier League.
