AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Japhet Tanganga from Tottenham Hotspur.
Tanganga is currently out of favour at Spurs and is yet to make an appearance for the club this season, with the likes of Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Cristian Romero ahead of him in the pecking order.
With the 23-year-old expected to find playing time hard to come by at Spurs, he is currently being linked with a move away from North London.
AC Milan have previously shown an interest in Tanganga, and according to Calciomercato, the Serie A title holders are still keen to bring the centre-back to San Siro.
Talks have restarted between the two clubs, but the Italian side are reluctant to accept a loan deal with an option to buy.
Milan would rather agree a permanent transfer that includes a buy-back clause for Tottenham, which would be similar to the deal that they agreed with Chelsea for Fikayo Tomori last summer.
