Gareth Bale will not be leaving Real Madrid on loan during the summer transfer window, according to agent Jonathan Barnett.

Agent Jonathan Barnett has dismissed the possibility of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale signing a loan agreement with another club.

Real are keen to part ways with Bale before the end of the summer transfer window as they bid to trim their wage bill, potentially in order to pursue other targets.

Zinedine Zidane has suggested that discussions are taking place regarding an exit for the Wales international, although Barnett has moved to play down any suggestion that Bale may depart on a temporary basis.

Barnett is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "There will be no makeshift deals to get him out of the club.

"Gareth is one of the best players on the planet. I can guarantee you he will not be going on loan to any club."

Bale has allegedly been offered a lucrative contract to move to the Chinese Super League.
