Team News: Tomas Kalas handed Middlesbrough debut

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka hands Tomas Kalas his debut for the club for their Championship clash against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

Reading boss Steve Clarke has made two changes to his side to take on Middlesbrough in their Championship match this afternoon.

Adam Federici returns to the starting lineup between the sticks, while Pavel Pogrebnyak also comes into the side from their 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the third round of the FA Cup.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has handed a debut to Tomas Kalas after completing a loan deal from Chelsea this week.

The defender is one of seven changes made from Boro's 2-0 victory over Barnsley in the third round of the FA Cup last week as Dimitrios Konstantopoulos, Ben Gibson, George Friend, Grant Leadbitter, Adam Reach and Albert Adomah start.
