Stuart Pearce's coaching staff leave Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest confirm the departure of Stuart Pearce's backroom team following his dismissal as manager.

Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Stuart Pearce's coaching staff have left the club following his sacking as manager.

Pearce was relieved of his duties by owner Fawaz Al Hasawi on Sunday evening, following a run of three wins from 21 Championship matches.

Assistant manager Steve Wigley, along with coaches Brian Eastick, Tim Flowers, Dave Galley and John Marshall have now all followed the 52-year-old out of the club.

Forest have appointed former Crystal Palace and Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman as Pearce's successor.

Freedman is expected to confirm the members of his backroom team when he is officially unveiled as manager on Tuesday.
