Robbie Brady: 'Norwich City character earned point against Arsenal'

Norwich City winger Robbie Brady believes that his side showed good character to earn a point against Arsenal, as Lewis Grabban cancels out Mesut Ozil's opener.

Norwich City winger Robbie Brady has suggested that his side showed good character to earn a point against Arsenal this afternoon.

The Canaries drew 1-1 with the North London outfit after recovering from Mesut Ozil's opener to level through Lewis Grabban before the break, and Brady insists that his side worked hard to produce the result in circumstances that could have seen the team "roll over".

"It's excellent, we've been in good form but we needed those little details to finish [games] off and get the results we deserve," Brady told Sky Sports News. "We put it together well today and Lewis [Grabban] worked his socks off up front, so it's a good point.

"It means a little bit more when you go behind to a team like Arsenal - a lot of teams would maybe roll over and let in a goal, or two, or three - but we stuck at it, stuck to the gameplan and got a good equaliser.

"[The goal] gave us an extra boost. We started well in the first half an hour - sticking to our task - and it was a bit of a knock when they got their goal. But we showed good character, and when we got the goal I thought we were comfortable from then."

Norwich will take on Watford at Vicarage Road in their next fixture on Saturday afternoon.
