Alan Pardew demands that countries maintain regular contact with Newcastle over their players while they are on international duty.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has suggested that he wants his players to be GPS tracked while they are away on international duty.

Key Magpies duo Tim Krul and Fabricio Coloccini returned from their time with Netherlands and Argentina respectively with injuries that will keep them out of Newcastle's match with Everton on Monday night.

Pardew has revealed that he has demanded extra contact with the nations whom his players are representing, requesting that they keep the club updated on their activities and whereabouts.

"We have put in a procedure now that we want all international sides to inform us what the players are doing, and exactly what they are doing," he said.

"With the technology we have today, GPS and everything else, we want a report back and to know what they are doing because we are handing these players over, to an extent on our pay, so we want to make sure they are looked after."

Newcastle have taken four points from their opening three matches of the season.
