Newcastle United have officially requested explanations from the Premier League over referee decisions in their recent fixtures.
The Magpies have failed to pick up a point in their previous three fixtures, and each game has seen a controversial situation take place that have left Eddie Howe frustrated.
It remains to be seen whether or not the club will gain a reply about their complaints, but they have written an official letter, according to BBC Sport.
Newcastle were not pleased with the decision to give Leicester City a penalty during their 4-0 defeat, while against Liverpool they were frustrated about the Reds scoring while Isaac Hayden was down with a head injury.
Then in their most recent defeat against Manchester City, Martin Atkinson opted to not give them a penalty after Ederson took down Ryan Fraser inside the box.
Newcastle United are currently 19th in the Premier League, having won just one game this season, and they will be back in action on December 27 against Manchester United.
