Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis reveals a number of names that he has contacted about becoming the club's next coach.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed a number of names that he has contacted about becoming the Serie A club's next coach.

Napoli are looking for a new coach after Walter Mazzarri confirmed that he will be stepping down after four years in charge at the Stadio San Paolo.

De Laurentiis has admitted that he has sounded out a number of coaches for the role.

"I have spoken to Rafael Benitez, Manuel Pellegrini, Roberto Di Matteo, Jurgen Klopp, who told me he was unavailable until 2016, Laurent Blanc and Didier Deschamps," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.

"I also spoke to all of the available Italians, I even thought of Diego Lopez but I didn't want to be rude to [Cagliari president] Massimo Cellino."

De Laurentiis suggested on Wednesday that the new manager's name would begin with M.
