Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool full-back Luke Chambers on a loan deal.
Chambers, who joined Liverpool at the age of six, has worked his way through the youth ranks at Liverpool, but is yet to make an appearance for the senior side.
The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Scottish Premiership outfit Kilmarnock, featuring in 16 games across all competitions.
Although he is highly regarded at Liverpool, Chambers is behind the likes of Kostas Tsiminkas and Andy Robertson in the pecking order, and as a result, he is expected to depart on loan again for the 2023-24 campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, Leverkusen are looking to recruit a new left-back and have identified Chambers as a potential option.
A number of other sides are believed to be showing an interest in the youngster, but a temporary move to Leverkusen would allow him to work under former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.

As for the Europa Conference League winners West Ham United, they have reportedly registered their interest in Strasbourg striker Habib Diallo.
The Hammers are set to receive significant income from the imminent sale of Declan Rice to Arsenal in a deal believed to be worth a total of £105m.
West Ham are set to reinvest the majority of that fee into the squad, and David Moyes is keen to bolster his forward options, especially with the uncertainty surrounding the future of Gianluca Scamacca.
According to Football Insider, West Ham have registered an interest in Diallo, who is under contract with Strasbourg until the summer of 2025.
Diallo finished the 2022-23 campaign as Strasbourg's top scorer after racking up 20 goals in 37 Ligue 1 appearances.
West Ham could face competition for Diallo's signature, though, with Brentford and Crystal Palace believed to be among his admirers.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa have reportedly joined the race to sign France international Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Frenchman scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 48 appearances last term, helping his side finish in sixth place in the Bundesliga and reach the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Despite having two years left to run on his current contract, Diaby is keen to move to the Premier League, amid interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United.
According to the Daily Mail, Aston Villa have become the latest club to show an interest in the 24-year-old, with Unai Emery keen to strengthen in wide areas.
With two years left to run on Diaby's contract, Leverkusen will only consider a sale if they receive a fee in excess of £50m.
Such an asking price would require Aston Villa to break their current transfer record of £38m, which was splashed out on the signing of Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City in 2021.

While Aston Villa are considering a move for Diaby, they have reportedly been priced out of a move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Pedro Goncalves.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Portuguese capital after registering 20 goals and 15 assists in 51 games during the 2022-23 season.
According to Journal de Noticias, via Sport Witness, Sporting will allow Goncalves to leave if his €80m (£68.5m) release clause is met in full.
Sporting's valuation is too steep for Villa, who have previously indicated that they would only be willing to spend a maximum of €40m (£34.3m).
Champions League finalists Inter Milan have also been linked with the Sporting man, but like Villa, they are reluctant to pay the release clause.
Sporting boss Ruben Amorim is keen to retain Goncalves' services, and the Portuguese club do not need to sell after recently offloading Manuel Ugarte to Paris Saint-Germain for around €60m (£51.3m).
