Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez could reportedly also spend the 2020-21 campaign on loan with Inter Milan.
The Chile international joined Inter on loan last summer and has made 16 appearances for the Italian giants, contributing one goal and three assists in the process.
As it stands, the 31-year-old is due to return to Old Trafford this summer, and a recent report claimed that he could be used as a squad player by the Red Devils next season.
However, according to Sky Italia, Inter have recently held talks with United to discuss the possibility of the South American remaining on loan at San Siro for the 2020-21 season.
Antonio Conte's side allegedly have the option of signing Sanchez on a permanent deal this summer but are not believed to be interested in a transfer at this stage.
The forward, who still has two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, has only scored five times in 45 appearances for his parent club since arriving from Arsenal in January 2018.
