Manchester United have reportedly spoken to Boubacar Kamara's agent over a potential move for the Marseille midfielder before the end of the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old's contract with his Ligue 1 outfit is due to expire at the end of June, and he is widely expected to seek pastures new this year, either leaving in a cut-price deal this month or on a free this summer.
Man United continue to be strongly linked with the Frenchman, and Anthony Martial's move to Sevilla could open the door for the Red Devils to make a signing before the end of the month.
According to the Daily Mail, the 20-time English champions have spoken to Kamara's agent about the possibility of signing him over the next week.
The report claims that Marseille want £10m for the midfielder this month, and Aston Villa and Leeds United are also said to be keen to bring him to the Premier League.
Kamara has again been an important player for his French club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 24 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal in the process.
