Manchester United are reportedly 'monitoring' Donyell Malen ahead of a potential move for the Borussia Dortmund forward next year.
The 24-year-old has been a vital player for BVB during the 2023-24 campaign, featuring on 18 occasions in all competitions, scoring five goals and registering two assists in the process.
Malen has managed four goals in 12 Bundesliga appearances, while he has featured four times in the Champions League, with Dortmund progressing to the knockout round of the competition with a game to spare.
The Netherlands international made the move to BVB from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2021, and he has represented his current side on 91 occasions, scoring 24 times and registering 16 assists in the process.
Malen has another three years left to run on his contract, but there has recently been speculation surrounding his future, with Liverpool said to be interested in his signature.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Man United are also keen on the Dutchman, with the English side looking to bring in a new wide attacker in 2024.
Malen scored 55 goals and registered 24 assists in 116 appearances for PSV, while he spent time with both Ajax and Arsenal during his youth career.
Jadon Sancho is set to leave Man United during the January transfer window following his high-profile falling-out with Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag.
As a result, the English giants are expected to target a new forward in January, while there have also been suggestions that a centre-back and two central midfielders could arrive.

Malen has largely played off the right for Dortmund this season, but he is also capable of featuring on the left, and his versatility is believed to make him an even more attractive proposition for interested clubs.
The Dutchman was on the scoresheet in BVB's 4-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga last weekend before playing 55 minutes of his side's 3-1 success over AC Milan in the Champions League.
Dortmund have been linked with a loan approach for their former player Sancho, although there have been no indications at this stage whether a possible swap deal could be on the cards.
Man United's leading goalscorer this season is Rasmus Hojlund with five, but he is yet to register in the Premier League, and his back-up, Anthony Martial, is expected to leave the club next year.
The Red Devils are likely to be busy in January providing that a deal for Sir Jim Ratcliffe to arrive as a minority shareholder is ratified by the Premier League in time.
