Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale reportedly has no interest in returning to the Premier League during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United and Chelsea have reportedly been dealt a blow regarding the potential signing of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale.

The Wales international has found himself in and out of the starting lineup at Real for a number of seasons, and it has recently been suggested that the Spanish giants are prepared to sell the former Tottenham Hotspur man.

However, according to AS, the 29-year-old has little interest in leaving Real for a return to the Premier League in the summer window.

The report claims that Bale is settled at the Bernabeu and with life in Spain, and that there is currently no desire to look for a new challenge despite an indifferent campaign at the La Liga side.

Bale has scored 100 goals from 219 appearances in all competitions, but the attacker has contributed just nine goals and four assists from 25 outings in Spain's top flight and the Champions League this season.
