Team News: Diego Costa misses out for Chelsea against Manchester United

Chelsea and Manchester United make two changes apiece for their Premier League meeting at Old Trafford, with Diego Costa missing out through injury.

Diego Costa has been left out of Chelsea's squad for the trip to face Manchester United this afternoon having failed to overcome injury.

The Spain international, who has scored nine goals in the Premier League this season, is replaced in the starting lineup by Didier Drogba.

Jose Mourinho has also brought full-back Filipe Luis back into the Blues fold in the second change from the side that beat Crystal Palace 2-1 last weekend, with Cesar Azpilicueta suspended.

United boss Louis van Gaal has also made two alterations to his side, with Chris Smalling replacing the injured Phil Jones, while Marouane Fellaini is rewarded with a starting spot following his goalscoring exploits off the bench against West Bromwich Albion last time out.

Injury has prevented Radamel Falcao from being included in the matchday squad, however, while Red Devils captain Wayne Rooney is serving the final game of his three-match ban.
