Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly expecting interest in manager Mauricio Pochettino from Real Madrid and Manchester United at the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly bracing themselves for renewed interest in manager Mauricio Pochettino following their qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have regularly been linked with the Argentine during his time in charge of Spurs and could be on the lookout for a new boss at the end of the season, with reports suggesting that Santiago Solari will only last until the summer.

Manchester United are another club to have been credited with an interest in Pochettino, particularly given the uncertainty surrounding Jose Mourinho's future at Old Trafford.

Pochettino has enjoyed a burgeoning reputation during his four-and-a-half years at Spurs, and The Guardian reports that the level of interest will be greater than ever after he led his side to a 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou to seal a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The 46-year-old is yet to win a trophy with Tottenham, but he has developed the North Londoners into top-four mainstays and regulars in the latter stages of Europe despite having a much smaller budget than many of the teams around them.

Tottenham are unwilling to let him leave the club, though, and are confident of keeping him after he signed a new five-year contract in May.
