Marcus Rashford reflects on "amazing" debut

Marcus Rashford says that he feels "amazing" after scoring a brace in Manchester United's defeat of Arsenal.

Marcus Rashford has admitted his delight at making a dream debut for Manchester United in their 3-2 defeat of Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The 18-year-old - picked to lead the line against the title-chasing Gunners - followed up his brace in the Europa League with two goals in the space of three first-half minutes and provided an assist on the third as United claimed all three points at Old Trafford.

"This is my first game in the Premier League, so obviously it's been amazing and to score two is just a bonus," Rashford told Sky Sports News. "Hopefully we can just carry it on and we go again next game.

"It was a shock playing midweek because [Anthony] Martial was meant to be starting and then coming in, but that kind of benefited me because I wasn't thinking about the game too much. It's been good.

"It's just crazy but having the likes of Michael [Carrick] around in the team as well helps, with their experience, so we can only go forward. It's crazy, you can't really explain it when you're out there. It's just a rush of blood, everything."

The victory lifts United to just three points off fourth-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
