David Moyes will officially become the manager of Premier League champions Manchester United tomorrow.

David Moyes will officially take control of Manchester United tomorrow.

It was confirmed in May that he has been selected to replace the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson, but the Scot was not to be on the United payroll until his contract with Everton had expired.

That will happen at midnight tonight, meaning that a new regime will be underway at Old Trafford.

One of the first things that Moyes is reportedly eager to sort out is the future of Wayne Rooney. Some speculation has claimed that the England international has decided to leave, while other reports have suggested that he is willing to sign a new contract.

Moyes is also believed to be eager to sign Leighton Baines from his former club Everton and Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona.
