Chris Wood was named in the starting lineup having just joined Leicester from West Bromwich Albion.

The New Zealand international scored his first goal for his new club after just six minutes with a header from close range, before adding a second with a tap in from inside the penalty area.

Ritchie de Laet rounded off a dominant opening 45 minutes for the home side with a header just before the break to give Leicester their third.

Leicester began the second half as they ended the first, Anthony Knockaert hitting a quick-fire brace with two strikes from inside the box in the space of two minutes.
