Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leigh Griffiths reportedly ends his loan spell with Hibernian following a physical altercation with manager Pat Fenlon and assistant Billy Brown.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leigh Griffiths will reportedly make an early return to Molineux after his loan spell at Hibernian was cut short following a physical altercation with manager Pat Fenlon.

Griffiths, 21, is believed to have arrived a training yesterday angered by recent criticism of his performances by Fenlon.

Having been singled out, Griffiths is said to have headbutted Fenlon, before punching assistant manager Billy Brown.

Griffiths then made for the changing rooms, where he cleared his locker and left the training base, according to The Mirror.

The centre-forward joined Hibs on a loan basis last August.
