Udinese came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Genoa in their Serie A match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris this afternoon.
The visitors almost made the perfect start when Stipe Perica found himself through on goal in the opening minute, but his strike was beaten away by Eugenio Lamanna.

Genoa were then inches away from taking the lead when Diego Perotti curled a free kick from just outside the box onto the crossbar, with the keeper well beaten.
The hosts came close to scoring from another free kick soon after, but this time Tino Costa's goal-bound effort was tipped over by Orestis Karnezis.
However, just moments later, Genoa did break the deadlock as Sebastian De Maio reacted quickly to poke home a loose ball from inside the six-yard box.
Silvan Widmer then had a shot blocked and Thomas Heurtaux saw his header saved as the visitors pressed for an equaslier.
Genoa held onto their lead going into the break and came close to doubling it early in the second half when Perotti's powerful effort was beaten away by Karnezis.
However, Cyril Thereau managed to draw the visitors level in the 68 minute when he touched in Widmer's low cross from a couple of yards out.
Both teams pushed for the winner late on, but there was to be no second goal as the game finished all square.
