Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is reportedly considering the possibility of making a new bid for Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente.

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has reportedly indicated that he would like to make a fresh bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente.

During the summer, Conte had wanted to secure a reunion with the Spaniard with the pair having worked together at Juventus, but the 32-year-old instead opted to move to Spurs from Swansea City.

However, Llorente has scored just two goals in all competitions this season, as well as making just one start in the Premier League, and according to The Independent, that has resulted in fresh interest from Conte.

Chelsea are currently struggling for goals, with Alvaro Morata having not scored in six games and Michy Batshuayi netting for the time since October 21 when featuring against Norwich City on Wednesday night.

Batshuayi could leave on loan during the January transfer window, and that would allegedly lead to Conte exploring the possibility of signing Llorente.

Chelsea have also been linked with an offer for West Ham United striker Andy Carroll.
