Romelu Lukaku posts a cryptic Snapchat message hinting at possible unhappiness at Chelsea after the fall-out from his controversial interview.

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku may have hinted at further unhappiness at Stamford Bridge with a cryptic post on Snapchat.

The Blues forked out a whopping £97.5m to bring the 28-year-old back to the club from Inter Milan last summer, but he has struggled to perform on a consistent basis.

Lukaku further made a rod for his own back by admitting that he was pining for a return to Inter during an interview, although he has since regained the trust of Thomas Tuchel.

The Belgian is still not completely popular with the Stamford Bridge fanbase, and he posted a message on Snapchat on Friday which may have conveyed further frustrations in the English capital.

Lukaku's post read: "If you have to force it then it probably doesn't fit," after he had also referenced his struggles to adapt to Tuchel's system during his controversial interview.

The ex-Manchester United man did score the winner against Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup semi-finals, though, taking his tally for the season to nine goals in 26 matches across all tournaments.
