Jose Mourinho says that he is "a different person" from the one who took charge at Chelsea in 2004.

Jose Mourinho responded to questions whether he was still "the Special One" by branding himself "the happy one" at a press conference on Monday.

The Portuguese, speaking officially to the media at Stamford Bridge, also claimed that he is "a different person" to the one that arrived at the club in 2004.

"I am the happy one. Time flies. It looks like it was a couple of days ago, but it was nine years. Since then a lot of things have happened in my professional life. I have the same heart, I have the same emotions. But I am a different person," he told reporters. "I would describe myself as a very happy person at this moment."

Mourinho left his position with Real Madrid earlier this month.
