Marko Marin patiently waiting for Chelsea chance

Marko Marin is confident that his "time will come" at Chelsea, despite failure to secure a regular place in the first team this season.

Chelsea winger Marko Marin is confident that he will break into the Chelsea team in the near future.

The 24-year-old has failed to secure a place in the starting XI at Stamford Bridge since moving to the club from Werder Bremen last summer, but the winger has insisted that he does not regret his transfer.

"One can still not judge [my career at Chelsea] after such a short time," Marin told Eurosport. "The injury has been a spanner in the works, but in the last games as a substitute I've shown that I can keep up.

"Now I need more play rhythm and consistency, so that I can reach my full potential. Definitely, [I will reach my potential]. I do not regret the change in the least, my time will come."

Marin has made five starts and 11 appearances from the bench since moving to Stamford Bridge.
