Real Madrid will reportedly launch a bid worth £86m plus the services of James Rodriguez to sign N'Golo Kante from Chelsea next summer.
The 28-year-old, having moved to Stamford Bridge in 2016, has been one of Chelsea's most reliable assets over the last three years, making 148 appearances in all competitions.
Reports have stated that Real president Florentino Perez and fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane are both determined to land Kante's signature ahead of the 2020-21 season.
According to Eldesmarque, Los Blancos are prepared to shell out £86m as well as Rodriguez in order to sign the midfielder.
Real employed a similar tactic with Paul Pogba last summer, offering Manchester United the Colombian alongside a cash sum for the 26-year-old.
Other reports have claimed that the La Liga side will face competition from Juventus for Kante next summer.
