Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll calls for commitment as the club prepare for life in League One.

Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll has called on his squad to remain committed to the cause in League One next season.

A number of their first-team squad have been linked with moves away from Ashton Gate this summer, but O'Driscoll has vowed to keep the majority of his side together.

He told the Bristol Evening Post: "I'm sure we've got players who want to leave and play in the Championship. But the Championship has got to want them and be able to take their wages on board.

"Everybody wants to be successful and the way to do that is to work hard. You have to want to be a part of something, you cannot just sit around and sulk.

"I want to be manager of Real Madrid, but I don't speak Spanish. If I want to work over there, then I've got to do something about that."

"If anybody in any walk of life wants to better themselves they have to be motivated to want to do well. They have to be prepared to put all the things in place they need to be successful."

Bristol City were relegated from the Championship last season.
