Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban is believed to be a transfer target for Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 29-year-old is back at the Vitality Stadium after a fruitful loan spell at Sunderland, where he scored 12 times in 20 appearances.

Grabban opted to leave the Stadium of Light in a bid to force through a permanent move away from Bournemouth during the January transfer window.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Championship high-flyers Wolves are eager to strengthen their ranks further as they seek promotion to the Premier League.

The report goes on to claim that Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has identified Grabban as worthy competition for Leo Bonatini in the team's frontline.

Grabban is also believed to be on the radar of Aston Villa and Cardiff City.
